Compliance & Onboarding Specialist
About the role
What you’ll do:
- Lead multiple onboarding processes for global merchants in parallel.
- Analyse and verify corporate documentation in accordance with Visa, Mastercard and European regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with global acquiring and payment partners, ensuring compliance with their policies.
- Conduct web research and screening to validate potential clients and identify red flags.
- Perform screening and web checks for potential and existing merchants clients consistently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, partners, and internal teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in compliance roles, customer onboarding or payment solution management – must.
- strong corporate experience/corporate administration - a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of payments providers and industry best practices.
- Background in Fintech, banking or payments – a strong advantage.
- Legal degree – advantages.
- Fluent English – written and spoken – a must.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven.
